Configuring ITNet e-mail forwarding

If you are currently a student studying a course in the Institute of Technology Tallaght and you have an e-mail account on ITNet you will need to register for a new ittd.ie Outlook Live account here. Then you can configure e-mail forwarding from your @itnet.ie e-mail address to your ittd.ie Outlook Live account.


Step 1: Login

Your ITNet username either the e-mail address you chose when you registered your account or your student number in the format X12345678. You can manage your ITNet account by clicking Manage Your Account on the main page.





Once Logged in you will be presented with either the NetMail or WebMail interface.

Step 2: Click on --> Options


 




Step 3: Select the Mailbox Management tab

  • Set "Forward All New Message" to yes
  • Set "Keep Copy" to yes
  • Put your e-mail address in the box under "Forward to:"
  • Click "Save"

Step 2: Click on --> Settings




Step 3: Select the MailBox Management tab.

  • Select "Forward All New Message"
  • Select "Keep Copy"
  • Put your e-mail address in the box beside "Forward to:"
  • Click "Save"
